Peanut Butter is NOT a Protein Source

We have this misconception that peanut butter, milk products, and grains are a source of protein. The truth is, they do contain some protein, but not enough to be considered a strong protein source. It adds to our protein intake in our meal, of course…

A strong protein source is counted when we are eating an actual protein, as in meat, fish, poultry, legumes and of course, protein supplements like whey or soya protein powder.

Industry uses media to hype up the protein element in their foods. They are not lying, but they are skewing up the image. We feel good giving our children those foods, and for very good reasons, they are good for us!

Demystifying Paleollitic Diet

In the last few months, I’ve been eating in the paleo way.  I’ve depleted fat reserves, I’m feeling more alert, and my energy levels have suped up!

The Paleo Way

I was turned on to this lifestyle when researching weight loss resistance to help my clients boost things up.  True to my nature, I wouldn’t suggest anything I hadn’t tried so I went paleo and things just started changing in a very positive way.
